It wasn't hard for Cameron to slip out of the house.....Kambree zonked out right after the 1st session of Conference.
I woke her up and asked her to go get Cameron for lunch. She walked into her room (where Cam sleeps - my Kam sleeps upstairs with her sisters) and walked out baffled and confused, "He's not in there?!" She was a little sleepy so I had to send her back in and instruct her to look in the basket.
"OH!" She quickly changed her clothes and was off on the Easter Egg hunt of her life!
Each egg not only gives her a clue where to go next, but says a memory or something sweet about her from Cameron.
And the whole family got to tag along and document!
This isn't the best picture of any of us, but it's the only picture I have as proof that I was there!
One of the clues was at Grandmas and Grandpas
So we had a quick photo op with them!
As we got closer to the Parkway, she started getting flowers with the eggs....
And candy....
Once we made it to the Parkway, there was a trail of eggs leading her off the path and over two small hills.....
When she came over the last rise, she found.....him!
And they hugged....
And hugged.....
And hugged some more....
Then he got down on one knee....
And apparently she said YES!
Then the hugged some more.....
And then he put the ring on her finger....
And hugged again....
And then kissed.....
And posed for a picture.....
Then came the congratulatory hugs....
And tears.....
And crazy Austin hugs.....
And more tears....
And yes, James and I were there and we hugged them too but we had the camera's so we don't have any pictures of ourselves however, we did get a picture of Ella welcoming Cameron to the family!
Then there was more kissing.....
And then it was time to tell Grandma!
And get more hugs!
And more tears...
And more hugs....
And then it was official! They let me post it on Facebook!
Another pose!
And a ring shot.....mine, my moms, and Kambree
CONGRATULATIONS CAMERON AND KAMBREE!!!
We're so happy for you both!!
