4th of July!

 This year we went to Manti to celebrate!

We drove up on the 3rd and went to Millers for dinner and ice cream and then the park:

That night Ry, Dev & Spence slept on the floor at the Wrights (dad and I had the guest room) and Jeff and Nancy & girls had the Wrights trailer and GG & GG and Kammy's family were in GG's trailer. 

The next morning we went to the park down the street for breakfast (some stayed home and ate at the Wrights) then we spent the day playing on the swing: 

We had a BBQ at 12:30: 

Then we drove to Nephi to see Spider-Man.

Troy convinced Blake to let him hold her with Skittles:

Kambree had to head to work in Nephi.

Then we went back to Manti and parked ourselves on Main street for the parade and pizza at 7 pm. 

Austin made it! 

Back at the house we played Stick Ball and chatted until the fireworks started:

For fireworks we just parked in the front yard in lawn chairs. Nancy brought lots of glow sticks. 

The next day some of us went to Palisades and some of us went to Das Cafe. It was Nancy's birthday:

GG & GG stayed an extra day and got some extra time with Blake and Harp: 

It was a great slower paced 4th and we loved it! Thanks for hosting us Wrights! 

At one time or another we had everyone there except our young NC Richharts, Brach and Arron.

It was suppose to be a quick trip to NC for some snuggles with Pais but it took 36 hours to get there 😕(red eye flight to Newark then mechanical issues on flight to Chicago making me too late for connection to Wilmington. Rerouted through Dulles and waited 13 hours for Wilmington leg and it was weight restricted!! Despite 4 open seats, none of the 3 standbys got on! Rented a car at 11:45 pm & drove just over 5 hours from Dulles to Jacksonville - returning home flights were full too. I could drive to Jacksonville but not Salt Lake. 😊Just another #standbyflyingadventure)

I convinced X and K to go on a date so I was the first babysitter and gave Paisley her first bottle:

 Harper was being a typical 4 year old and was told by Aunt DeeDee “Listen to your grandmother.” Harper looked at her puzzled, then pointed at me and said, “She is not my GRANDMOTHER. She’s my GRANDMA!”
