4th Of July Parade....

The day started off with this patriotic hair-do..

My Dad's Birthday!

My Dad is "a real life nephew of my Uncle Sam born on the 4th of July" but we celebrated July 3rd this year.

He LOVED letting off fireworks and struggled with the fact that my older kids had purchased their own and didn't want him to light all of them.

Swimming With Dad!

James is way more fun than me! He spent hours throwing Alex and Rylee around the pool and the loved every minute of it.

This would be a cute picture if not for Austin's nerd goggles and Devree's demon look!

Alex's and Power Tools!

James showed Alex how to use a few power tools and Alex has been in heaven! He has created a number of "prisints" for us.

Brach is just observing, as they wait for their ride to scouts.

Alex made me this heart and pantomimed it coming from his heart to mine. (It's made out of an extra piece of our hardwood floor.)

Here is the heart, the pencil holder and the drill bit holder. The best one was the sprinkler head he carved out of a stick by hallowing it out and drilling holes and then taping it to the end of the hose. It really worked!
