The baskets:
(Yes, that's right. The Easter Bunny brought them new towels!)
Paska
(Traditional Ukraine Bread made at Easter Time. This years recipe was way better than last years. Here is the link so I can find it next year!)
Waiting on the stairs......
Ready for church......
And the kids....being themselves!
Later that day we had a family party and egg hunt:
As my children get older, the holidays get easier.
(Except for the Easter dress buying. That get's harder!)

3 of my blog friends said something...:
glad to see you have a link for your paska after spending HOURS making danny and brandon their paska which they said was a bread and not a dessert. in the end, what they were looking for was what you made (which to me looks like a dessert). so much for my beautiful braided bread!! thanks for doing the footwork:)
except I just clicked the link and this IS what I made. what did you cook yours in? and what did you frost it with? I have a hard time believing they use the same ingredients we do for frosting in Ukraine. I read that 'Ukrainians' use egg whites and sugar, but that sounded a lot too much like the inedible rock hard frosting we make to hold our ginger bread houses together:) But the boys said my 'bread' was not crumby enough? So do they just not know how to cook over there and just make it really really dry? I already thought it was kind of dry. Not terrible, but I won't be taking it to show off anywhere!! so hard to try to read minds...
Is that a girl? With Jeff? At Easter? ;)
