Alex Update...

Alex is doing great. The other day James was not paying specific attention to Alex who was repeatedly trying to get his attention and saying "Dad, Dad!" Finally he marched out into the hall and said to James. "You no good ears?" We laughed and laughed about that.
This morning Kambree was telling Alex she hasn't seen him for awhile. (She's been busy with the end of school and Alex has been at Brach's a lot lately) He told her "You be men." Referring to Kambree being on a date last night. That made us laugh too. He's very observant of what goes on and always asks me "What you do?" when I'm leaving or coming from anything.
He also told me "You forgot money-money." because yesterday was allowance day and I hadn't paid anyone as I didn't have any cash yet.
Alex had his first sleep over with Brach last night. He said they watched "Home Alone" and it was "hee-hee, ha-ha" which is way of saying funny.
He and Brach are really becoming bud's. They don't say much when they're together and that seems to be fine for both of them. Both have a very common interest in video games. I as so glad they'll be in the same grade. Last night we went to my mom's for cake & ice cream for her birthday and Alex ran home to get the dart guns and he and Brach & Tyler played-according to Brach "an imaginary game" which Kammy overheard Brach tell Alex "Let's play imaginary Halo!". We both had told our son's no when it came to playing this video game so I think Brach was afraid to tell me what they were actually playing. It's fine with me if they play imaginary war games, it's the violent, bloody video games I want them to steer clear of! I think Brach and Alex will not only be cousin's but best friends. I worry that Alex would live there if he could as every free minute he has he asks "Me play Brach & Tyler?"
Good news in the mail this week!
We got a letter from Salt Lake Valley Health department stating that Alex's chest x-ray's look good and that we're welcome to have yet another TB text administered for free unless we feel the first test was good enough. I'm going with-first test is good enough. So we are cleared, no antibiotics or follow up, he's officially TB free.
The next day I got Alex's "Certificate of Citizenship" in the mail and now I can go and apply for his social security card.
I still need to mail his passport back to the Ukraine embassy and I would have already sent it except they want his picture attached to the form. Good grief. There's a picture on his passport, isn't that enough? Anyway, that's been on my list of things to do for three weeks now.
