Attention runners, walkers and anyone else....

Hurray for our "Save A Parent" lunch. It was so good to be together and share stories and advice to the three families leaving this month. I am happy to report that the vote to close international adoptions in Ukraine has been tabled for now and that all our families are proceeding full steam ahead to go get their children!
On June 30th in Layton there will be a fundraiser with a 5K run or a 1 mile walk to raise money for "Save A Child" foundation. This money will be used to bring the next group of children over this fall. I know that had we not hosted Alex through this foundation, we would have never found him. So, this is near and dear to my heart.
The run or walk is $20 per person or your whole family can participate for $50. If you're not into running or walking that's okay-we can accept your cold hard cash too! Email me (richharts@msn.com) and I can forward you a registration form and more information. I understand there will be carnival games for the little kids and a raffle and this should be a lot of fun! (My awesome friends-and previous roommates in Ukraine-Amy & Mary are spear heading this event so here's a big shout out to them!! Whootwhoo!)

I do not mean to sound like a sales pitch but, I read in your post about the fundraiser your doing. And i would like to help you all and these children. If interested i would be happy to set up a fundraiser (Avon Fundraiser). As i am a Avon rep.
Let me know who i would need to talk to if your all interested.

It is Friday night at 11:00. I was missing the Ukraine and decided to read your blog. It made me feel better. It was good to hear you again and laugh. Wasn't life so simple over there. It has been hard to come home to life. I finally posted on my blog and decided to keep it as much as I can so I can keep in touch with my adoption friends, especially you. Hope you are doing good. We missed you at the airport for Julia I was hoping to see you.
