Fear Factor Camp!

Alex and Ry attended Fear Factor camp this week.
They LOVED it!
They did funny, silly things like eat gummy worms out of pudding, play games, sings songs and they had teams and head bands and they just had a fabulous time.
It was nice as James was gone and I felt like the kids were actually DOING something! As opposed to watching TV or playing video games or me trying to figure out something else for them to do.
Personally, it was nice as I hadn't been able to get up and go to the gym all week due to my Game On Diet and the need to get seven hours of sleep and how late we are getting home with performing Peter Pan. So, I would catch a work out in at the recreational center-where the camp was held-and bring them home afterwards. It worked out fabulously.
So Friday was the field trip. They were seeing the Snakeman. Imagine my surprise when I was briskly walking the track (with occasional burst of running to get my heart rate up) and looked down from the window to see on the grass below, this 110 pound boa constrictor and MY children carrying it!!!
Who needs running to get your heart rate up at that point!
I tried to get pictures on my cell phone but they did not turn out. I did find my camera and get a few pictures when I went down to pick them up. This is Rylee holding "Rosie". (She can not possibly be my daughter-or even less her grandmothers granddaughter!)
Here is Alex holding "Sausage".

Apparently the "Snakeman"-or in this case a woman-brought the snakes to the rec center? They were inthralled and had great plans of getting a snake themselves and having a snake birthday party.
Uhh...no?
Or should I say....NO WAY!
Snakes and birds-I do not do.
Please note-that is NOT my hand petting the boa and I did not touch or come near any of these reptiles. I am just proud of myself for coming through the door and zooming in to take these photo's!

First of all, are you SURE you adopted Alex? He and Rylee look so much alike! And Rylee is your spitting image!
Ok, onto the snakes... um. EWWWWWW! Looks like it was fun for the kids though! What a neat idea for a camp!
