Saturday morning we went to Murray's 4th of July parade. This year we didn't get our traditional spots in the shade but that was a blessing as it was so pretty chilly for the 4th of July!

That night Kambree and Austin went with friends to the fireworks and James and I were tired and really didn't want to go but the three home were set on going so we loaded up the bikes in the truck, parked over by the high school and road in right when the fireworks started. It was pretty cool riding our bikes with fireworks going off over our heads. We found a patch of grass, threw ourselves down, watched the fireworks and then jetted out of there before the masses. It was nice-the whole adventure was about thirty minutes! Next year I think we'll bike from home and leave a little earlier!
