Amazing!

So at my 5:45 am spin class this morning my instructor, Carrie-whom I've know for over four years-I think-asked if I was interested in the Red Riding Hood Ride in Logan for women in June. I explained I was waiting for my travel date. "Oh, where are you going?" (I totally thought she knew about my upcoming adventure!) I guess I have never mentioned it in her class. I told her I was heading to the Ukraine to adopt a 10 year old little boy and we may (or may not) have our travel date any day now and I just can't commit to anything until I figure out when we'll be gone. "Oh", she said. "My brothers the mission president in Kiev, would you like to get in touch with him? Maybe he can help you find housing with one of the members?" I almost fell off my bike!! Would I?? Of course! So she took my email and is going to send me his contact information.
My gym friend Jan commented on the way out of class. "Wow, Someone really wants you to go get this little boy." She witnessed last weeks Pilate's class when the lady working out beside me told me she was from the Ukraine. Guess where? The same city my orphanage is in, I have her email address too as she said she had friends there that could help me find housing. Are we blessed or what?

5 of my blog friends said something...:

Isn't it amazing how you put something out there into the universe and it takes off from there? I love those reminders - thanks.

I thought you found spin classes boring. At least you'll be saving more not having to find somewhere to stay. I saw two Ukranian boys in craniofacial clinic yesterday and thought of you.

Corbie-I so know what you mean. My kids just laugh they say I'm a Ukrainian magnet. "Everywhere you go you find Ukrainians or something connected to the Ukraine."
Amy- I DO hate spinning. However, we (Jan and I) were promised that it would increase our metabolism-so we started going last week-which if we had not I would not have met up with Carrie as we've stopped going to her "jumpy-skippy" class on Fridays.
What was wrong with those boys? craniofacial sounds serious!

You are a Ukraine magnet. That is so awesome. If you email would you ask if there are any branches in Kremenchuk? We heard their aren't missionaries there, but we have mixed reports if there is a branch or not ; ) Thanks
