Austin's Birthday Review

Sunday is such a nice day for birthdays.
The day started off with me making Austin not one but TWO pan's of puffy pancakes and then we went to church where he was sustained and later set apart to be a priest. Now he can bless the sacrament and baptize. (For those of you thinking...what the heck? Here is a link explaining a little about the Priesthood and the LDS church.)
Then we went home where I made a big pan of nachos for lunch and then Austin opened presents:

He got lot's of boring stuff like undershirts, shoes, boxers, socks, shirts and then he got a new tube for the boat! (And a his own set of keys to the Geo Metro he's going to drive!)
Here I am kissing on my baby boy!

Then, you know you're getting old when you go and take a Sunday nap! This is Kambree and Austin zonked out. Kambree's been dancing every day until six and for eleven hours on Saturday. Austin on the other hand just plays with friends until late into the night.
Then I made a nice dinner but everyone was grumpy faced from waking up except for Alex who is always ready with a smile and a wave!

Austin asked for his gooey brownies-which I made-but unknown to him I had a huge Costco cake and had invited friends and family over to celebrate with us!

This is his "posse". Guys from the neighborhood. They all showed up right at six and Austin was so excited, "I get to play with friends on Sunday for my birthday?" (Yes, we don't play with friends on Sunday-it's a family day!)
Here he is blowing out his candles....

With his grandparents....

And then here is the favorite hang out in our yard.
The top of the shed! Where you jump off onto the trampoline. (Yes, those are girls that came too!)

And then Kambree invited a few of her friends and dance company members to come sing to him. Devree and Rylee got dressed up for the occasion too.

And this morning James took Austin to the DMV and here he is with his official license!
Watch out neighbors!
