The Fabulous Fort

This is the fort.
Better described as a fence with prickly weeds woven on top to fortify said fort/fence from enemy attacks!
The proud architects , builders and dwellers of the fort/fence:
Alex & Brach
The use of the fort/fence? Air soft bb gun wars....of course!
Fort/fence comes equipped with a built-in air soft bb gun place that not only hide's but protect's your air soft bb gun from the elements-a good thing as the fort/fence doesn't have a roof to protect occupants at all.
Anyone want to come over for an air soft bb gun war??
Here's where we were last year with our fort/fence builder:

That's some mighty fine construction, and I love the use of the prickers for extra safety!

That's a pretty cool Fort, now will it have a roof?

How fun!! Alex is such an adventurous boy. It was fun reading how he made a flag, then hauled in the wood, and finally the fort. What a cute kid!

Are Brach and Alex the same age? How lucky that they are such good friends with such good imaginative powers. We are struggling with the friend issue. Alex doesn't know how to play with kids, wants Michael to play all the time. It's so strange, especially since all he had was kids to play with in the orphanage. Our spring break begins Tuesday afternoon. It's supposed to rain and snow for four days. Any entertainment ideas?

Swss Miss: I think they're planning on putting on a tarp for a roof? I'm not sure. I'm sure they'll be sweltering in the summer if they do!
Lori: Brach and Alex are 8.5 months apart but in the same grade. (Alex is older.) They are the best of buddies. Alex actually has quiet a few friends but it took about six months for him to make friends. The first while he'd just hang out at home. Now he's always off playing guns, video games or basketball with his friends. Sunday's are hard as we make our kids play with each other-no friends. Luckily his cousin Brach is his best friend and usually end up getting together. As far as entertainment goes...good luck! We'll be having the same issues as we're going to Southern Utah and the outlook isn't good for sunny weather!

Is there anything, whatsoever, that beats a fort in the eyes of a child? How adorable.
